Apply for Help with Utilities
Please note: FISH can only consider applications from those who live within Sonoma Valley (from Schellville to Kenwood).
To apply for Utilities Assistance, please complete the form below and a FISH volunteer will be in contact with you. FISH will never ask you for your immigration status, social security number, bank account numbers, credit card or debit card numbers, or passwords.
There are several other programs available to help with your utility bills. Learn more from PG&E about current customer protections and support programs, and review the information at the bottom of this page to see if you qualify.
ADDITIONAL RESOURCES FOR HELP WITH UTILITIES:
HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program) - one time energy assistance - La Luz Center staff helps fill out paperwork. Call for an appointment at La Luz - 938-5131
REACH (Relief for Energy Assistance through Community Help) - offered when services are off or in threat of termination and balance of past due. Customer must have paid the past due balance down to $300. Grants may only be used to pay past due amounts. The account must be in the name of an adult living in the house. La Luz will assist with application. Call for an appointment at La Luz - 938-5131
PG&E CARE (California Alternative Rate for Energy) program - call 1-800-743-2273
Monthly discount of 20% on energy bills for income -qualified households. Online application at PG&E CARE.
PG&E FERA (Family Electric Rate Assistance) Program - call 1-800-743-5000
Monthly discount of 18% on electric bills for income-qualified households of three or more persons. Online application at PG&E FERA.
